Lots of good answers here, might be tough to pick best. FWIW, my question was inspired by Luke 12:16 - 20, et al.
Of course, most every scripture on Earth warns about living only for this life: the wise apparently plan and live for something more lengthy and profound.

We are just pilgrims, and life is just a journey that you can make as pleasant or miserable as you want. We always have choices, and as long as we have a good guide (God) we will always be in the right path.

Most people especially those with a religion feel we have a purpose on Earth. We feel we are here to fulfill something. If we have done good then we will descend into Heaven.

As spiritual beings I do think it is part of our journey, and it is very possible that we have experienced many life times and different worlds, for myself personally I believe that I always was and always will be, so if it is all true I will have lots of lives and worlds to visit.

We are only her temporary, Thank God. We just make the best of it, and live for God, that makes it easier and prepares us for our eternal home in heaven.
