Who would win if the X-man Collossus, a man of living steel, were to take on Solomon Grundy, an undead zombie of mystic origins?

hmm interesting question. In a knock-down-drag-out fight, Colossus would be the fan favorite because he's the hero, and Grundy is a bad guy. However, Collussus has the disadvantage of being a human, he has his moral limits. Grundy is just big and dumb so he'd not know when to quit. I know because I found him in my former Arrow Cave once, and fought like heck to get the jerk.
But in an election, Grundy would have all of the bleeding heart liberals feeling sorry for him but the liberals may like the fact that Colloussus is from Russia. The conservatives would want Grundy because he's an American, and Collossus because he's strong and obviously anti-Commie which is why he left Russia
In a beauty contest...well Grundy takes that hands down,

Grundy is by far stronger(has done well in fights with superman) but Grimm is well trained pugilist who has fought the best the marvel universe has to offer. He would out think Grundy( the old one not the new smart one) and trick him into beating himself. There is not enough info on the new Grundy to make a decision.

well since its Monday---of coarse its SOLOMAN GRUNDY--since its his birthday!
I'd take the big lummox anyday over colossus--better to react in a fight than to be over;y thinking about it! PLUS if a GL can't put him totally down-what chance does Peter!

Grundy.
DC characters are typically MUCH stronger than Marvel characters.
