I have a couple of pairs and the rhinestones are on the back flap pockets and I don't want them to come off. I hate the Dry Cleaners because it doesn't seem like they really get clean.

You turn them inside out and wash gentle cycle.
I have a pair and some times I forget to turn them inside out when I wash them but none of the rhinestones have fallen off yet so I am not sure if it really matters.

I have some 4 year old Old Navy boot cuts low rise that I LOVE! The bottoms have frayed and the color has faded to a pale blue, but I will wear those jeans til the seams fall out. Most comfortable pair I've ever had.

turn the jeans inside out and hand wash them. its the only way to be sure that they don't come off. this is what my boss told me and i work in a clothing store, Rave. just put the washing stuff in the place where you're going to wash them and scrub them with your hands like the old days.
