I know your eggs are done by now but the next time that you going to boil eggs, may I make a suggestion to you? When you put your eggs in the pan with room temperature water, add salt to the water over the eggs. Pour about 3 tablespoons or so of salt around over the top of the eggs. Then boil your eggs for about 10 minutes. Drain off the water, pour cool water over the top of the eggs till they are covered and let them set for about 5 to 10 min. Then start cracking and peeling the eggs. The reason for all this... if the eggs, when they crack while boiling them..the whites don't go every where and also they peel so much easier.

if you want soft boiled taken them out if the water has been boiling for 5 mins - if you want hard boiled or are making egg salad then leave them in boiling water for another 5 mins. YUM!

Take them out now! Depends on how hard you want them. Leave them in a little longer for hard boiled.

It doesn't matter how many eggs there are. 10 minutes will make them hard boiled. 5 mins will get tem semi-hard, semi-soft, etc. Depends how you like them.
