What is so special? So unique? Or there is nothing really different from any rich European country? Or western to be more general.

But it IS different. Its Friday night foot ball games, town fairs and waving at the other cars that pass. It is a sense of belonging, not fearing law officers and knowing that you are safe. It is putting money in the bank, secure you can get it out! It is a sense of trust and well being and knowing you can become ANYTHING you really strive for.regardless of your economic beginnings.You will be cheered on in success, sympathized with in failure and always can you find a helping hand. That is the American Way!

It is the ability to enjoy a decent lifestyle without above average intelligence, the freedom to drive at 100mph for long distances has already been curtailed by A rabs and the freedom to shoot people is under threat.

I am American, I live in the US and I honestly have no idea...I suppose having a bad president who normally makes bad decisions isn't helping us a lot eh? We have a lot of resources but a lot of lazy people...that is why I think the UK is so much better than here!
