Have a disgruntled ex who has been slandering me and posting false rumors & worse on about me on myspace as well as on another site. Is there a legal way to stop that?

Yes there is. Copy and print everything. Go file a complaint in your county courthouse. It's an intentional tort. Better known as a LIBEL suit. It's slander but the written term. You have the proof, the courts will make her stop and you can even file for monetary compensation.

Copy and print it then present it to the ex. See what happens you can report her to the site she is posting on and if you can prove the slander and defamation of character then yes ..get a lawyer!!

Well there's always a legal way, but often that requires a lot of money upfront to a lawyer.

Another strategy might be to go online anonymously. and Keep It a Secret from your ex-. It will drive her crazy not knowing who your new identity is.
