Catassing: Ignoring day-to-day activities (sleeping, eating, etc.) in favour of advancing one's character in a massively multiplayer online game.

Are there any free online guides to power leveling in such a way?
If it's impossible in 7 days, how long does it take?
Answers don't have to be race/class specific.

Without "Catassing", No, not possible

I have heard about people reaching 60 in 7-8 days playing time, which is considered fairly fast. Now, when I say "playing time", it means the actual time played (there is a clock running and you can see exactly how long you have been playing).

As for how long it would take, It took me about 6 1/2 months to get to level 60 with my first character (an Orc Warrior)

This translated to 23 days of actual playing time. I tend to play between 3-4 hours a day maybe 5-6 days a week. This was my first character with minimal help power leveling. I have a couple of alternate characters who are leveling faster (not quite 60 yet)

It'll depends on the number of hours you are willing to put into the game.

I will definately say no to just power leveling to 60 in 7 days without dropping the vast majority of each of those days into it.

I would suggest a more reasonable time span such as 1 month for an active player or several months for a less active player.

If you are new I would suggest you not worry about 60 and play the game and learn how to play the game. Nobody liked to group up with a level 60 who has no real idea how to play the game either because he purchased his account or he power leveled up without actually learning how to play the game along the way.

from my experience i can get from level 1 to 60 in 14 days of regular game play. i know for a fact that i can get from level 1-30 in a day, eating while playing the game. and i didn't loose sleep because it was within the first day. getting level 30-40 might not be that much of an issue, a running mate would help. maybe 2 days. from 40-56 if you grind and quest at the same time you should be able to pull it off in 3 days. after 56, the questes don't give too much experience, and i mostly depend on grinding at this time. either in Wintersprings -or- Silithus. i know for a fact i can get 2 levels in 1 day. so i believe that there is a chance, it's possible to power level from level 1-60 in 7 days. FYI, i require only 3-4 hours of sleep a day, if i get more i fell drain for the rest of the day. if i made a wager, i would bet i could pull this off.

I know that somewhere there is a website that tells you what to grind and what quests to do in order to lvl fast. I am not sure where it is or how long it takes but i do have a friend that leveled to 60 in about 2 weeks and he did eat and sleep and work and all that stuff. He does play a lot but not 24 hours a day. You should look on some of the gaming websites and find out if any of them have the cheat sheet to lvl fast.

If you've got help... maybe.

First thing you'll need to remember is that, for short-term experience boosts, you'll need to do quests - grinding for XP by killing creatures will stop short for power-levelling. So, you'll want to bookmark thotbott.com - the Find Quests option can help you get the quests you want. Specifically, you'll want to snag the quests as you can pick them up - anything that's a red quest is the best bang for the buck.

Problem is, red quests are, by nature, *rather* difficult. Which means you'll want a friend who is willing to drag you around on a whirlwind tour. This will need to be a *very* good friend, since you'll probably need to spend the *entire* weekend grinding quests, dawn-to-dusk (or vice-versa, depending).

Mind you, even if you can swing having someone who wants to power level you, it's still going to take a while. If you're looking to do it in a relatively sane manner, or solo, give yourself a month. If you've got help, and spend multiple hours per night... two weeks, maybe? But a week, even with help, isn't very likely.

Possible: yes, but it would involve not leaving the house, multi-tasking with food, getting like 3 hours of sleep per day, and of course caffeine. So it is highly recommended that you take your time and get some sleep.
