Anybody with an emergency situation can be admitted to a hospital regardless of age. However, if you're just looking to get check-ups, you'll need either a doctor referrel or parental permission.

It all really depends what you are going there for. i had my daughter 9 months ago when i was 16 and times before that the doctor would send me to the hospital without my mom but i don't remember my mom having to be there or sign any papers becuase it was about me and my baby and they pretty much treat you like an adult while you're pregnant but after you have the baby back to a kid you go. so the only thing i can tell you to do is call the hospital and ask them because they can't kill you for asking. it would be nice to have a parent there to keep you company though.

Yes. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. NO hospital is going to refuse care to a pregnant girl, regardless of whether she has a guardian with her.
p.s. you can't admit yourself. A doctor has to admit you, whether it's your ob-gyn or a doctor from the emergency room.

If you are having a baby you don't need a parent. I do not know if you need a parent for any other type of admittance. I was 17 and I could go to the Dr. and the appts. by myself. You can always call your clinic/hospital and ask if you would need a parent. Good luck.

No. You will need your parents or a guardian to admit you. Even though you are pregnant, you are not of legal age to be responsible for your medical decisions.

If your in labor there not going to tell you "hold her in until your mom gets here" they have to deliver. But if you have somebody to go with you it would be better. It is one of the greatest experiences in life, But also very scary the first time. But don't let me scare you. It goes by quick Your mind is so occupied you don't even realize you actually gave birth until that baby is on your chest. And then it's all worth it. Good luck.

YES! you can admit yourself. I admitted myself and discharged yourself. Kaiser told me that I was considered an adult when I got pregnant. They oldnt even let my mom pick up my return to school paperwork. I had to go and get it myself.

you can admit yourself if you think that you're going into labor. i don't think the hospital will turn you away just cause you're 15. that's a big lawsuit, because not only is your life in danger, your unborn child is too.

Yes you do need someone of age to admit you.I had my first child at 17 and my boyfriend was with me but my mother still had to sign something for me because I was under age.

If you are in labor they must treat you with or without parent present (emergancy only) however they will try to contact your parent & if hospital can not contact paents they will contact child protective services, they can not release a minnor with or without baby without the minnors parents or legal guardian.
