I believe the word you meant is "commit"
Set yourself a schedule for doing your schoolwork and do the things you dislike the most first. Then, as a treat (!), you can work on the other subjects.
Perhaps your history teacher is not as scintillating as your other teachers. If there is a way of switching teachers at the end of this semester, do so.
If you turn in your papers on time and study for examinations, your history grades are not likely to slip to Cs. History is really just stories of the past. Reading some good biographies may help pique your interest.

As a former middle school teacher, I can tell you there's not an easy answer. I'm not sure what grade you are in, but I can tell you from experience that your life will not end in elementary, middle, or even high school if you do or don't get straight A's. That being said, it is crucial that you challenge yourself now, or you will regret it later.
So what can you do? Setting goals is a good start. Look at your previous grades in your classes - especially the ones that don't interest you - and see what you can do to maintain those levels if you were making all A's. Then at the end of each quarter, semester, or whatever, you can look at what you accomplished and take pride in that...ESPECIALLY the ones that bore you! If you fall short of your goals, ask yourself why and decide honestly if you are setting realistic goals or just trying to make other people happy. Seek assistance from a teacher or another A student if you need additional input; don't "commit" :-) the sin of not asking for help out of personal pride or potential embarassment. And whatever you do, don't give up on setting the goals, as it might even accidentally rekindle your interest in some subjects while providing the motivation you seek.
I hope this helps you out; if you are already a goal setter, another idea I can briefly offer is to talk with other people (students, teachers, random people in the mall who don't look unsafe) about your subjects to gain more appreciation and understanding of them, as that may supply the interest you seek. It may sound lame, but if you really care about your grades and future (as opposed to just the consequences of falling to a B or a C now) you may be surprised by the results. God Bless!

One way to motivate yourself. Ask your teachers if you can tutor other students. This way you would have to keep up on the material in order to help those who are falling behind. Ask some of the sports coaches if any of the players need help. I know in most school districts, players must maintain a certain grade average to continue playing. For the classes you are having trouble in again talk to your teacher. I never had straight A's, but if you miss one day of class, you can easily fall behind. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you are trying too hard............slow down a little.....
Just keep doing what you have been doing,,,,,,,,Handle each subject one at a time.........study...........move on to another...You should be able to go to your teacher, yes?....If you think of History, as Your history, you may start to like it....I mean after all, it is our history when you think about it........Math was always confusing to me, but I think you are smarter than I was.......If your parents aren't able to help you, do what I did for my daughter....
I allowed a girl friend to come over 2 times a week and they did their math together....worked at the bar in the kitchen...especially night b/4 a test...It helped.
good luck........
