Don't shave, invest in electrolysis.

When you shave, it cuts the hair off at the skin. Then when it grows out again you have a hair that is blunt. Normally hair has a taper at the end and appears more fine because of it. Hair naturally trims itself by way of split ends, which make the tips finer.
Hair does not grow thicker and darker if shaved, it's just blunt and gives the overall appearance of darker or thicker if you have a bunch of blunt hair in one area.

In any case, without all that explanation ;) I would suggest you wax if you don't have the funds for electrolysis. Or pay for the zap. It will make you feel better, and that's what's important. Been there with girlfriends of the past and my wife. I’ve never complained but it’s not just about the man but peers and kids, they are the worst of all because they speak their mind.

If you wax, it pulls the root out and forces the hair to grow fresh. This also makes it appear finer for much longer because the hair has to build back up to full thickness over time. It takes at least 2 weeks for the hair to peak out on the surface when properly pulled from the root while waxing. Over time, waxing can kill the root from the trauma and cause the hair to permanently thin out in quantity too. It isn't perfect but can give you a way to control it on your terms.

I even have been shaving my hands for a pair years and that i won't enable the hair advance out b/c evidently rather undesirable and feels strange, however the hair won't advance decrease back thicker or darker.

Hi,
No it does not grow back thicker, it looks that way because it has a blunt end after you cut it and as it grows the blunt end stays blunt and looks thick.
They have those Muff things out, They look like a sheet of sandpaper and what it does is break down the hair as you rub it in circles and it then disappears. It grows back really soft and it takes a long time to grow back too.
They have one for Face and another for arms legs, make sure you use the right one for your face or you will get a little rash .
Take Care, Hope it helps.

Shaving does have a tendency to make hair grow back thicker and darker. However if you was it tends to grow back thinner and thinner and over time most if not all of it just stops growing back. Plus the waxing thing makes your face smooth and soft for weeks versus hours by shaving.

don't shave, it makes is thicker and more noticible, it might even create stuble which is ugly. buy a wax or bleach at your local department store like walmart. Get the ones by Sally Hansen. They're normally about like 4-7 dollars. It's really easy to use and effective.

It will not grow back thicker but it might grow back darker. It will look thicker because the hair it cut at an angle and light will reflect off of it differently.
You should try surgi cream of something.

I don't think shaving your hair makes it grow back thicker. How would the hair roots "know" or "care" that you had shaved? It's not different than cutting fingernails, which is also dead material, in my estimation.

I do not recommend shaving your face if you are a girl, because you will get a five o'clock shadow, and your skin's texture might resemble a man's.

Try waxing, bleaching or plucking the facial hair.

I hope I helped!
