If I copy Text or Images from someones Else's website then edit them with Paint for Images Microsoft Word for text does it then make the Copied Text/Images Legally my work and in turn Legally Mine????

Hmmm, what do you think???

If you were to write (draw, photograph, paint) something and display it on the web and someone copys it from you and changes it a bit, is it still yours?

You would have to prove that they "borrowed" it from the site and changed it.

Thus, IMHO, it would be very difficult to prove that someone else used your original material, unless there was something totally unique about it that "said" it was your work.

Not a lawyer by any stretch of the imagination, here. Just my thoughts as an artist!

Then again, you could always ask for permission to use their work(s).

If the changes are not identical to the original source, it's not illegal.....how identical is a question of technicality...atleast u may wanna take permission from the original owner.

Give the original author credit and ask for their permission to use and change it.
