Hey, why not? It's your choice. If U of NY has a certain better program than say U of Toronto, go for it.

Yes, and depending on what province you are applying from, you may fit in as a New England Student. Nova Scotia Students get THe US New England Student rate, as do a couple other provinces, check for yourself at New york.

Aboslutely, but beware that it will cost as much as 10X more to go there. That's because Canadian universities charge less for candians to attend them thatn they do for international students, and the US is the same way.

yes, but i believe you have to take SAT. if you already have an university in mind, check out their website I'm sure they got info on it.
