there should be no ill affects after you have donated blood if you do feel slightly off then tell the donor centre before you leave as you may be coming down with or have had an infection of some sort and as a result your blood that you just donated may be contaminated and unusable, don't be embarrassed about this as you would be saving someones life by reporting this symptom.

Some people feel dizzy, but most people feel fine. If you are dizzy, just eat or drink something and lay down. Remember, don't donate blood on an empty stomach.

Maybe a little weak and wobbly. Maybe strong as an ox. Just depends on you, no two people are alike. But thank you for giving the gift of life!

The same as before .....anything else is a problem. If you are a little light headed then just have a cookie and relax for a bit. Tell them if anything weird is going on.

There's no "should" involved. Some feel a little lightheaded, some feel tired, some feel a little weak and some don't feel anything significant at all.

giving blood sucks, but you will feel good when they write you a note to get out of work that day! :)
