Mars is the 4th planet from our star Sol and about 1/3 the size of Earth....Mars is also the name of a greek god....the god of war and fire...volkan is also noted when considering mars. Mars, the planet, is believed to contain water and a slight atmophere.... it suffers pretty drastic changes in temp and appearently has some pretty drastic storms.
