That depends on your alkyl halide. If its a terminal alkyl halide, then major products would be terminal alkenes or alkynes. Otherwise, its more likely that internal alkenes or alkynes will be synthesized since your nucleophile will preferrably attack the most substituted carbon (Saytseff rule).
