I often use Tea Tree Oil for skin irritation such as shaving bumps, acne and infected hair follicles! It even helped with a lice problem we had from school!

I was just wondering if anybody out there can clue me in on some other uses for this wonderful and natural oil!

I like to add it to my face wash and wash my face with it. It feels SO nice and fresh when it's rinsed off.

We use it to "prevent" lice also. We add a few drops to every shampoo bottle when we get it and haven't had to worry about them since.

I don't really have any new information for you, but I'm a huge fan of tea tree oil too.

It can also be used externally for yeast infection. My daughter had Paranickia (a fingernail infection) caused by chewing her fingernails. The doctor had her take oral meds to kill the infection. She did loose her fingernail. I later on developed the same type of infection from washing hands so frequently due to my job. I would use Tea Trea Oil and a baidaid on the reddned area one - three times a day. It kicked that infection out!!!!!!! I was glad to not have to take oral medications. My daughter likes using tea tree shampoo.

I left my Tea Tree book at the office. It has a wonderful collection of uses and a history of this very special oil. I will try to get back to you with more info.

The WW I soldiers had a small vial of TTO in their packs for injuries in the field, athletes foot, mouth rinse, etc.

I use it for cleaning, too. It helps remove mold in the shower- naturally.

It's the best antiseptic around.

I used it on a veruccha that I had for about seven years and nothing else would shift it. I soaked tea tree oil on a cotton bud and taped it to my foot every night before going to bed. It was gone in about a week. I imagine it would have the same effect on any kind of warts.

There are many uses for tea tree oil, but they are under the "aromatherapy" label, not homeopathy. Here is a good link: http://www.hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/duke_energy/Melaleuca_quinquenervia.htmlre
It has the historical uses and ones that have been proven to work.
