To enter a reputable MBA program a BA in Economics will get you half way there. On top of this, good MBA programs only accept people with work experience (preferably at least 2 years experience, preferably in a managerial or business role).

I hope this helps.

Yes, you certainly can. You can enroll in any MBA program as far as you hold a Bachelors. Some colleges' requirements are higher than others, some colleges even require you to have some work experience; but yes, you can enter any MBA program with a BA in Econ.

p.s. I'll recommend taking the GMAT instead of the GRE. :-)

Your college education is one of the admission criteria, but it's also the least important one.

Below are the admission criteria in order of importance.

Note that this is true for top 5 schools which I have experience with; it might be different for others.

- Essays (most important - you've got to get them right!)
- GMAT score (anything over 700 is good, above 730 is perfect)
- Professional experience (need to show outstanding achievements, high level of responsibility, passion, dedication, etc)
- Recommendations from peers and supervisors
- College results

Hope this helps.
