Has anyone else heard this? I have actually received a couple of them and they say that it has killed animals. I obviously don't let my dogs drink the stuff but they say that when the dogs walk on the floor and then lick their paws, they have injested enough to kill them.

Check out snopes.com
Link below. It appears to be a false rumor going around email.

Here's a thought: after you've used your wetjet, make sure the floor has been mopped with nothing more than water. I've heard the same thing about the wetjet, and I wouldn't risk it.

In response to some of the following answers: Yes, it may very well be a hoax, but I wouldn't want my dogs or my kids injesting any chemicals, no matter how small of an amount. It is always better to be safe then sorry. You never know: your dog or your child might be allergic to something in the cleaning solution.

I DOUBT this is the case. Don't you receive all KINDS of emails saying weird things? I just got one that the president of yahoo answers was going to charge people $10.00 to use this site if you didn't forward the email. They range from all kinds of things, but I'm sure something like this would have made the news.

Let's hope it is not true

EDIT ~ i just looked at that website the girl above me left, she obviously should get the 10 points, that was a great website... very useful, and I hope this settles your mind!!! :)

I've heard of that, too, and I wouldn't use them because of it. I try to clean my floor with more natural stuff, anyway, because I don't want to expose them to anything potentially harmful.
