Be careful with chinese food, you can't have any MSG that is in chinese food... it can harm the baby...
You can eat normally really, just try to eat healthy, but you can always still eat that chocolate!!!!
And drink plenty of water! I hate drinking water.. and I am breastfeeding, I didn't drink a glass of water for I think 3 days, and my baby got dehydrated!!!!
So, just remember, whatever happens or doesn't happen to you, will happen to the baby too! Like eating hot spicy foods.... or broccoli.... your baby could get gas, and that means hours of a screaming gasy baby :) Not fun!

Good luck!

drink alot of water and eat a healthy diet like when you were pregnant. When you breastfeed you are still giving your baby what you are eating.

Even a malnourished mother can make adequate breastmilk for her baby. What a grand design! Eating a balanced diet will make sure your nutrtional stores are not depleted. You can eat spicy foods and "gassy" foods too. just always watch for a reaction. You can even have a drink of alcohol every once in a while. Babies are very resiliant!

Just eat a healthy diet. Stay away from things that cause excess gas like cabbage and potatoes.
Also, avoid peanuts for a while. Get lots of protein and drink lots of fluids. That is the most important because you have to be well hydrated to be a good milk producer.

There is no special diet that you need to follow to breastfeed.
Just make sure that you eat a varied diet and drink plenty of fluids.
