My Dad was like this and he was really loud, and to top it off he knew the words to about a million songs. I think they think they sound just great, but they are just grating on our nerves! You may want to establish noise free periods with him. At least you will get a break from the caterwauling. There are some really cool earplugs out there, too. If you have the money invest in a voice lesson for him. Hopefully the coach would tell him the truth!

Why are you refusing to think about doing the right component? that is not your position to inform your friends what to do or chorus from doing. it is your bosses activity: to provide the prospect for those they supervise to do their jobs. So, go on your manager, and aspect out all the justifications that a persons' making a music interferes with the smoother operation of the dep., and ask that they difficulty an reputable ruling that folk not sing contained in the place of work.

those who are tone deaf really think they sound good. usually til they hear themselves sing. try recording them and then making them listen to thier version...vs the real song. see if they get the message.

I would let his own words do him in. Record one of his singing sessions and let him hear it for himself.
