I just got a nose ring put in 3 days ago. The problem is that the stud is so small (not much bigger than the screwing in part). It's starting to sink into my nose a little.
What should i do? get a different nose ring today? any other suggetions?

Do NOT listen to charchar or mary-jane!!

Hydrogen peroxide is the worst possible thing to put on a new piercing. My question to you is, why did your piercer put in such a small stud? They should know better!

The best thing to do is to go back to your piercer and have them change it for you. If that isn't possible, get a longer stud with a larger disc/ball/gem on the end. Then use a warm salt water solution. (1/8th of a tsp. to 8 ozs. of water.) Be sure to use sea salt and not table salt. Again, never EVER use hydrogen peroxide, it will just dry out the piercing and cause excessive irritation and a much longer healing time.

if you like the size of the small stud in the first place you should wait because your piercing is still fresh and getting ready to heal and the hole will shrink to the size around the stud.
if you are really worried about loosing it when you sleep and what not, depending on what type of stud it is, you could go back to your piercer for a larger stud/ring.

Nose rings are sexy! - but NOT those little tiny ones you just described. Get a nose stud that you can SEE!

Leave it in, keep pouring the alcohol and peroxide to it. Don't mess with it too much it will get irritated & infected. It will heal soon. then get a bigger stud!

get a nose ring with a slightly longer shaft, your nose is slightly swollen, you don't want the pressue to cause the hole to rip. I had the same problem when I had my done the first time.

take it out a.s.a.p!!! i had that happy 2 me only on my ear and.... ouch!!!! it got further in and i had to dig it out backwards!!! don't let it go to far or u r gonna have one majorly painful nose. take it our and give it time to heal if it bleeds. get a new ring and put it in ONLY when it is 4 sure healthy enough, use peroxide a lot.
