Ok, so I have this AWFUL question (that serves as a warning!) And I prefer only mature Women answer this.
Is there a way that I can tell if I've been r#ped?
When I think it might have happened it was a year or 2 ago. And I either thought or hoped that it was a dream. I'm still not sure if it happened. And it was my own father which makes it even harder to speak up, because what if I'm wrong and it never happened?? Every now and then I ketch him staring at me (even my friend has) and it really creeps me out. ..But I've never have had sex...would that help to tell if I have been raped or not? ...I don't have a docter...or really anybody to trust..
However, I'm not sure if this is important but my dad is known for drinking, drugs and cheating on my mom...
Please understand that I was terribly scared & still am so it's hard to really do anything...so on advice please don't blame me...

I was rapped by my father. Don't feel that this is a weird question.
The first thing you need to do is find a Gynocologist. One that a friend really trust. Maybe a woman..would make you feel better. They can see if you have any scar tissue that a rape would induce. What ever the outcome, go to see a phycologist. Sometimes they can help you to uncap repressed memories.
No matter what it is, its important that you find out if your right or wrong. Also be careful with yourself.

You might have to find a dr. they could give you a pap smear i'm not sure if doctors can tell if you have had your "cherry popped" it doesn't always happen the 1st time you have sex. When you have sex around the 1st time there is a little bit of blood that comes out after sex. If you get a dr. you can ask if they can tell by that, but you should really get a doctor and talk to them. I'm really sorry that your father is that way with the drugs and drinking. It's really sad i was molested when i was younger by my sisters husband. If i were you i would put a lock on my door even a little hook would work and lock it every night when you go to bed. You would feel much safer and if he did try to get in during the night you would hear him. I really hope it was just a dream!!

You need to find a doctor (preferably a female), and get yourself checked. The doctor will be able to tell if your hymen has been broke. If it has and you have never induldged in sexual intercourse then you were raped. Then you need to let someone know someone that you trust and if you cannot find someone then talk to the doctor. This is very serious and you should not let it be. Your father if he did do this should not get away with it. Maybe you can talk to a friend's mother about this if you cannot talk to your mother. Please for your sake and for other rape victim's out there look into this and then do what should be done...

It is Definitely not your fault if it did happen. The only thing that I can say for sure is that if you have never had sex then you can go to a gynecologist and they can tell you if you have had intercourse. The only thing is that it was 2 years ago and any DNA evidence is gone now but you can at least know for your own peace of mind weather or not you were raped. I hope that everything works out for you.

Honey no one blames you. It (if it did happen) was done to you by someone you should be able to trust. What you need to do is go see a doctor. You can call your local rape center and talk to someone. You don't have to give your name they are there to listen and help you. They can give you information on where to go to get checked. Please get checked. If your dad drinks and cheats on your mom chances are he doesn't use protection. Also the doctor can refer you to a counselor you could talk to. I wish you all the luck.

In fact you are the only person to decide in YES or NO. You say," I'm still not sure if it happened". Then assume that it has never been happened and take out / drop the issue from your mind.

A Dr. can tell if your hymen is still in place, your local health dept. can provide this service also, pls explain to the Dr that you may have dreamed this, but your just not sure.( no the Dr won't think your lying) Was there any blood present after the "dream" a sure sign that the hymen was broken, if ti is true pls see a counsler at your school or health departmant.

Sweetheart you need to find a free clinic or Planned Parenthood Clinic. Have a doctor check you to see if your hymen is still intact. If you have never had sex or improperly inserted a tampon you should still be a virgin. You need someone older that you can trust to talk to. Can't you go to your mother? I pray so. I would want my daughter(if I was fortunate enough to have one) to come to me with anything. I pray that this was truly a bad dream but you need to find out. Maybe you could go to your friend's family? Please, find out.

Your local department of children services can get you checked.

go to an obgyn right away they should be able to tell if you'd had sex and that would answer your question
if it turns out to be true call social services right away (you should probably be able to ask the obgyn to do) don't be afraid to ask a doctor these questions they will listen this is very serious
