I mean is it true that the English people today are all from Germanic background and that they haven; really got a history before the Anglo-Saxons, like native brits before Roman times and Ancent Britons, i mean there must be some English people who might have Celtic native blood in them, or is it that Germanic people made England of what is it today with all their influence and so therefore England is omnly 500 600 years old and dont really have an indenity or rich in history like say Grecce, Egyptions (Pharos) or the persians etc.

Mitochondrial DNA analysis research shows that the bulk of the British population today have an ancestry in Britain going back to at least the Ice Age, ie 25,000 BC.

The English today are a mix of Anglo-Saxons and Celtic Britons. Remember, the Celts themselves once settled Britain (c.700BC) and they bred with the earlier Bronze Age population.

I'll ignore that "England is omnly [sic] 500 600 years old" thing you wrote. In actual fact, England is the oldest kingdom in Europe. Secondly, to say that we don't have an identity or rich history shows great ignorance and lack of education on your part. EVERY people on earth have an identity and rich history. If you took the time to examine English and British history you would find that we are an ancient people indeed.

England is mainly Saxon/Celtic. Saxons are Germanic for sure, coming from Denmark. They believed in Odin and such things, but were never 'vikings', in our sense or the word.

They say English people have about the same genetics as Norwegians, and that they are all either 60% Saxon/ 40% Celtic, or 40% Saxon, 60% Celtic.

Ah, what of England - how great they influence. The Irish struggle, the Scottish Picts, the Welsh, the Norsks-Vikings, would take serious issue with your all Germanic ancestry. Given the ways of war, Hadrian no doubt left a few Romans around centuries before the Germans woke up. And finally, the Normans would want to have their "moi" included.

The nearest thing to the "original" British islanders would be the Cymry of Wales. They are descended from the original Britons of Roman times and were driven into the mountainous far west of the island by the invading Angles, Saxons, and Jutes. (Who called them "wealsc", foreigners -- hence the name of "Wales").

The Germans may have got there first (and brought their language with them), but the French got there too, and it may be truly said that William the Conqueror was the father of his country. I am descended from all of these, and unless you are a recent immigrant to Britain from India, if you are British, you probably are too. Genealogy is great fun.
