I've always liked the look of fake eyelashes. I've worn them 2 or 3 times but never to the high school. I got compliments from my friends one night when i wore them. Do you think they'd be too dramatic for school?

It depends on what kind of eyelashes and what your general style is.
You can get natural looking ones, and its rare that people will notice or care that you're wearing them. Then there are the dramatic ones (I own a pair with glitter along the last line) which would be alot more noticeable. If you really want to wear fakies, pick a pair that goes with your style and look. You can get reusable ones for $12-$20. They're more expensive then the temporary ones, but last a while.

I wouldnt go all out with the fake eyelashes to school. There are however, little input eyelashes that add more to the ones you have. I would suggest those, they look less fake and more natural. NOW ADD JUST LIKE TWO ON EACH EYE OR YOU'LL END UP LOOKING LIKE YOU DID WITH THE FULL ON FAKE ONES. ; )
NOW FOR HALLOWEEN, TOTALLY OK I'D SAY BUT JUST THAT DAY. (to school at least)

Just like how we wear our makeup to school should be different then how we wear it going out, the same rule applies. It's okay to use the fake eyelashes when you go out at night with friends, but alittle overboard when going to school. Keep it for night time fun and you'll be good as gold.

The short answer is: it depends.
"On what?" you say?
1. Your overall style of dress. (If you usually dress in low key clothes like sweats or the like, falsies will look a little out of place.)
2. Your level of confidence. (If you're confident enough, you can pull anything off.)
3. What kind of lashes they are, and who makes them. (if they're on a solid line of glue or if they're individual. Individual ones are much more forgiving in the "natural" look. Also, make sure to buy good ones, not the $0.99 you buy at the drug store. Quality makes the difference.)
4. What else you're going to be wearing that day. If you're going to be wearing a mini-skirt and spike heels, you'll look like a stripper. If you're wearing nice pants and some pretty shoes, you'll look classic - like Audrey Hepburn or Marilyn Monroe.)

Yes it is;
BUT
you can wear single fake eyelashes and use them sparingly, and that can give you a real cute effect without going over the top.

yes I think it's a little too dramatic. But if you want natural looking but dramatic eyelashes, I would suggest going for cover girl mascara or loreal Paris those are both excellent mascara brands for the "natural dramatic look".

YES.....false eyelashes are night wear.....and for special occasions...not day wear.
Use eyeliner (top lid) instead....will give you definition....without the "over the top" look of fake eyelashes.

I agree that its more for a dramatic night look, but if it is not dramatic eyelashes then it should look fine

its too much for school - leave it for special occassions as this is when you get the 'oomph' look. if you wear it to school it will start looking so normal.
use a lengthening mascara like avon astonishing lenghts ($) or lancome hypnose ($$$) instead.

maybe just for special occassions - but your best bet is to use a maximizing mascara - Avon makes a terrific one and its inexpensive - otherwise another brand is clinique
