If your debit card has a Visa or MasterCard logo on it, it can be processed just like a credit card over the internet.

When Paypal tells you that your credit card transaction is complete, it is simply saying that you had enough money in your bank (debit card) to cover the costs involved.

Your debit card can act like a credit card and be used as one. However, the money is coming out of your bank account. It is accepted as a credit card sometimes and you will have to sign a receipt usually when it's run this way. Most gas stations will ask if it's debit or credit. Here u say debit and enter your pin number, you then shouldn't have to sign anything.

I recommend that you use it as a debit card as often as possible. It will usually run as a credit card payment on things like pay pal or amazon.com. This can sometimes delay your transaction a bit. Also keep in mind that it may take some time for your debit and credit to post to your bank account. make sure you balance your checking account so you don't overdraft your account. call your bank's 800 number or go in and set up overdraft protection. You can set it so your not allowed to make a transaction if no money is in the bank, or have a any overdrafts pull out of a savings account or a back up credit card.

Either way, if it is a Debit Card it is pulling money from your account and you wont get a credit card bill in the mail.

Your debit card is exactly like a credit card when used on internet. Please be VERY careful using that thing online! The best way to pay for things on internet is to go straight through your bank sight online and enter the place to be paid and account number in your sightkey on your bank sight! Your banking online sight will have an e-bill screen. Go to your bank and get further details, they will hook you up with a password and show you exactly how to do it, don't ever pay for anything even on e-bay unless you are in your banking online screen!

Check your bank account, more then likely its deducted from your account by now, one of the ''little'' flaws with pay-pal. If no transaction made on your account, contact pay-pal asap !
