I work for the kroger company and have for 29 years, they are really on me about my productivity.I am going to be 59 next month. Most of the cashiers are way younger than me. I really do try my best, but they say I need to speed it up. I am at a 475 and they need a 500,what ever that means. I wonder if I should look for another job. the stress is too much. I'm sure another store will hire me,but I will lose all my senority. Should I stick it out?

Any manager who would hassle a grocery store clerk about "productivity" has got to be a real jerkoff. If they expect maximum productivity, they should pay their employees a reasonable salary instead of a meager hourly wage. I'd find another job, fast.

stick it out. im sure you get some benefits like health insurance, etc that would suck to have to start paying for without your job... or before you leave make sure you have another job waiting first...
