Since in meiosis the cell splits, it leaves the two products, or daughter cells, with half the chromosomes each. That would make it a haploid.

Oh, but it depends on what kind of cell you are talking about. Strawberry cells would be tetraploid. N. gigantea would be octaploid. Both are considered to be polyploid!
