I would prefer to drown. I think my brain would shut down after a few minutes in the water and I would lose consciousness. There is a reason why people describe hell as being burned alive.

Just being burned by a stove is bad enough. And just recently watching people jump from the world trade center instead of being consumed by flames is reason enough to choose drowning.

Personally, I hope I go quickly. A nice heart attack would be quick and painful.

Burning would be awfully painful -- drowning seems like a much more peaceful way to go.

You'd die much quicker from burning. Drowning is a slow process, your lungs slowly explode. Its considered the worst.

Well I am not sure I want either but if I have to burn because you can die from the smoke before anything else happens

Hmmm, if your burn to death eventually you would pass out from smoke inhalation, and drowning you would eventually pass out from the lack of oxygen, so it depends on which allows you to pass out quicker.

Pain at single point lungs very intense is downing... the same intensity spread out all over is burns. Either way almost same.
