First off, wash your eye area with just plane soap and water. Next don't put your foundation just on you face. Use it on your eyelids and lips too, don't worry about it getting on your lashes. Next a light covering of powder keeps the foundation in place and gives a good base for your eyeshadow. You'll be really surprised how well it works and looks, and it won't get so oily so fast. (I have oily skin too) It also makes your lipstick last longer.

I couldn't agree more with Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion. You can use foundation, but depending on what kind it is, it might crease up anyway. UD Primer Potion is the absolute best thing out there - your eyeshadow will look exactly the way you put it on several hours later.

what i found that works is u put a little bit of foundation over ur eyelid, then the shadow, or u put like face powder on ur eyelid then the powder, because then the shadow sticks to the other makeup, not ur eyelid

Before you apply eyeshadow apply your foundation on your lid and then apply the color. After you have applied all your makeup do a quick brushover with blush.
I have the same issues when I do wear makeup.
