Anyway, I have looked into these Chrisco/Castle hamper things, and you're actually way better off putting the same amount of money that you would pay them into a savings account throughout the year, and then taking it out at Christmas and do the shopping yourself. That way, you get exactly what you want - as opposed to the hamper where you pay the same amount but often get a lot of things you just don't need/like. You cut out the delivery and handling fee that way too. It just takes discipline, even if you have to get your bank to set up a direct debit from your everyday account to an account that you can't touch til December or something. It's a much wiser way to spend your money.

I'd just like to point out that is actually a typo, it's 5kilos of prawns, same as last year. As far as the Smirnoff goes if you look at the page you actually get everything in the center of the page and you can choose to add two bottles of Bundaberg/Jack Daniels/Jim Beam/Johnnie Walker/Smirnoff. Or you can have one bottle of each.
