Once they get all their defensive players back on the field like reagor and others I think they will be middle of the pack against the run. Once that happens I think they will win the AFC and the Super Bowl. They end the regular season 14-2 and dont lose a playoff game, beating Denver, and New England in the playoffs on their way to their Super Bowl victory.

It all depends upon how many injured players return. Their defense sucks right now, but half the defense is out injured and most of them should return by the end of the season and that means the Colts should be kicking it into full throttle come the end of the season and play-offs.
The Colts really need to win against New England at New England this week if they want to win the Super Bowl. New England will lose very few games this season and the last thing the Colts want is to have to head to New England again in the playoffs. The Colts are a fair weather team and if they have to go into New England in a snow storm like they have many times before, New England will definitely have the advantage. It's funny that 90% of the time that the Colts have to head to New England in the regular season and the Patriots almost never have to head to Indy.
Many people are underestimating the Colts running game. If they do, they will pay for it. Everybody thinks that with Edgerrin gone that the Colts can't run. Addai is looking like he is going to average more yards per carry than Edgerrin did and Addai is in just his first season and getting better with every game.
The Colts offense started getting their game together in the 2nd half of the Redskins game. Now they just need to get the defense together. If they get their defense together, then watch out for them in the playoffs. The Colts may not look pretty this season, but they know really well how to get out of the stadium with a W. If the Colts can keep the score close even though they are behind most of the game, they have a really good shot at a win. And it doesn't hurt that they now have Vinateiri, the best clutch kicker in the NFL. I'd much rather have him than Vanderjet. Vanderjet could make the kicks like no other when it really didn't matter, but when they really needed the field goals he choked. Vinateiri doesn't choke and may be that little extra they need to finally win a SuperBowl even if it doesn't happen this year.

They will do well cuz they have Manning but they will also fail cuz they have not yet understood the team concept. They continue to rely on the passing game while ignoring things like, say, oh, a real defense against the run. Peyton deserves all the money he gets, but some of the money they pay him means they cannot have depth at many of the other key positions. There is more to football than scoring a lot of points. His defense is doing him no favors. And they will lose in the AFC Championship game to the ultimate NFL "team" the New England Patriots!

They will tear up the AFC, until they get beaten by New England.
The key to beating Indy is putting pressure on Peyton Manning. Something Denver didn't do yesterday.
I don't like the Indy Colts for the following reasons:
* the way they snuck out of Baltimore at night. The Balt fans did not deserve to lose their team, and not like that. Indy could have gotten an honest franchise in the future.
* Manning puts up great numbers, yes he does. But he always chokes in the big game, NFL and college
* Tony Dungy. Nice guy, but a soft guy. After TB won the super bowl, the year after Dungy went to Indy, guys at my work said, oh Gruden won with Dungy's guys, like Dungy was responsible for TB super bowl. I said, yeah, how come Dungy didn't win with Dungy's guys? Choker QB and Choker coach.
* Indy is a great BB town, but having been in that Hoosier Dome, your fans don't know much about football, I can't respect that
* You play in a dome, I enjoy real football, thank you.
And lastly, you guys were so excited last year, then crumbled in the playoffs. Don't open the champaign until you win the Super Bowl. Indy is starting to remind us of the boy who cried wolf, we take your team with a grain of salt!

YES!!!
I think they will finally get that monkey off their back (losing the first playoff game).
They are a little under the radar this year. While they were tearing up the league last year, they peaked way too soon. They are not ripping along this year, but are winning close games. They will improve as the year goes, as will their defense. Addai will become the running back.
I plan on using all of my playoff tickets this year.
Go Colts!!

I think they have the pieces to go all the way, but I thought that was the case last year too, it didn't end up going that way. They have shown in the last few weeks that they have the ability to come back VERY strong in the second half, but they've had a TON of injuries on defense, which is where you win the games in the playoffs. It's a tough question, but I look forward to finding out the answer

I am a Bears fan but I like the Colts to. I get really iritated that people seem to be making them out as huge rivals. I think they will continue to do well up to the playoffs, when Manning will choke just as he does every year. The Bears have a solid def and offense as well as a QB that dosn't choke under pressure. Sorry Colts fans but the Bears are gonna get their turn this year and they'll prove it in the playoffs..

It'll be the same thing that they always do.
*Jump out to a great early record and huge division lead.
*Dungy will get conservative and start resting starters around week 15
*start the playoffs with a first round bye
*be rusty and lose to a hungrier/sharper team that's played a full 16 game season.
*and that is how the Colts season will go

I hope that the Colts do well this season as I have Peyton Manning on my fantasy team. I think that they may experience trouble in the playoffs though. I would say no Super Bowl winning this year.

It really depends on the pass protection that Peyton Manning gets. With their record and a major injury not withstanding; they'll make the playoffs. but they have to give Manning enough time to execute against teams that have excellent defensive lines. If they get to solve this and their ground attack jives with their running game; they can go deep into the playoffs, and a Super Bowl appearance even!
