Liberals will deny that they ever said the prices were deliberately dropped for the elections, and they will complain about how high they are, etc.

It'll be a miracle. You do realize, don't you, that they should start going up anytime now because of all the traveling people will be doing in the next few months? Tell me, when have the gas prices ever not gone up?

it really hedges on the Iran situation...

if you were paying attention the big raise about 6-8 months ago was when Bush was talking about Iran every day... when he stopped, prices dropped...

the market is scared to death an invasion will crush supply... so gas prices shot up on just the fear... he will probably start talking about it again after the election and they will probably rise...

but we'll see...

They are already quite a bit up from before the war - so Bush and his cronies have done well already.

Let's see - Cheney's stock in Halliburton went up 3000 percent last year - 250K to 8 Million dollars . .that's always a good year . . .

I wish Exxon would pay Alaska the 6 billion they owe from the Valdez oil spill out of their recent profits . .but that's wishful thinking.
