No and that is a shame. As long as they can convince the voters to re-elect them they can stay there until their brains have turned to mush.

ther are surrently no congressional or senatorial term limits at the national level. Many states have such limits for their assemblies, but these varie widly.

Stron therman was the longest serving senator, he ritered after 47 years in office at the age of 100. He dies few months after that.

the term limit for the US Senate is 6 years. Then they have to face the voters. Just ask the RNC about it as they are petrified of losing too many seats.

yes, they can only serve one term after they are dead. Then they have to let somebody else get elected. Sometimes it is hard to tell so they go two terms after death before somebody smells them
