you cant. a fish bowl isnt suitable for a guppy because it isnt big enough. It isnt even suitable for a goldfish. The only type of fish that can be kept in that small amount of space is a betta. Go for a 10gal or bigger fish tank. The water needs to be heated to 72-76 degrees, and you need a filter.

You can't keep guppies in a fish bowl it is not suitable for them because it is not big enough for them. You can use a fish bowl if you are going to clean the fish tank and need some where to put your guppies till you are done. Guppies need the rock, plants (real or fake) to hide in, the temp. to stay at 78 degrees, and a filter system to help keep the tank clean and oxygen in the water. I have about 75 guppies and they are in a 55 gallon tank. Here is a web site that help me. I hope it will helps you. Just type in guppy and it will give you all kinds of information about guppies.

Fish bowls are not really a good idea for any fish as the shape of the bowl does not allow enough surface area,a small aquarium would be much better suited.Guppies are very hardy fish, and can be kept without a heater in a warm room. but do benefit from a good light source. I would Suggest that you shop around for a small complete set up, this would include an aquarium, gravel, filter, heater, pump, hood and lighting.set the aquarium up by cleaning the gravel well and planting it out with aquatic plants then slowly adding water, leave it running for about 10 days before adding any fish. the pH level of the water should then be about right. enjoy your new hobby trust me in no time you will be hooked when you see the happy fish giving birth to live young!!!!

you won't be able to save any fish in a bowl. All fish want a minimum of a heater, and fish like guppies and betta (tropical) will also want a clear out. Even contained in the biggest of bowls there is not sufficient room for this kit/it now complicated to connected. you are able to purchase a small fish tank for a small fee which will furnish one or 2 small fish with sufficient room.

You can keep about one guppy per gallon in a bowl. Provided you have some sort of filter, and keep your house in at least the 70s. Honestly you'd be better off getting your self a 3-5 gallon tank.

to a guppie it might be to small. and these bowls are dangerous, as it promotes algea growing on the sides and lets alot of sunlight in the bowl, heating the water.
