Do you put them in their carseat on a chair or next to you on the booth?

Check with the restaurant. Some restaurants have a little stand specifically for baby seats. It looks kind of like a folding table with a sling in the middle. Other than that, a booth (as long as the car seat is too big to slide under the table) or the floor would be the best bets. Don't want a waitress or neighboring table to accidentally bump baby off a chair.

Usually there are baby 'sling' seat things that you can put them in with their carseat. If not, then probably on the floor right next to you (even if you have to move a chair) would work the best.

Carseat if it's a chair, and on the booth seat next to you near the wall if it's a booth.

Just please don't put them on the floor, I used to hate that when I saw customers do that.

I usually placed the carseat on the booth next to me. Many of the high chairs seemed unstable to be when I placed it upside down. By having my babay next to me, he felt more comfortable as well and I was in his line of sight at all times.

Many restaurants have a type of high chair that an infant carrier can be strapped into for safety and they can sit right at the table while you eat. If they don't, you can put the carrier in your booth or another place at the table. - Just make sure it is secured!

I either had them in their car seat in a booth between me and the wall, or I held them. A chair would be too dangerous. The car seat on the floor if absolutely necessary, but a stroller would be preferable.

Most places have those wood stools that you put toddlers in. Those high chair looking things. Most of the time a car seat will actually sit on it, if not it will deffinatly fit it you turn it upside down. Usually the bottom is wider and it should fit there. Never failed for me. I have 2 kids and we go out to eat alot.

i always took a carseat and sometimes if they had a baseanet i put them in it now some resturants have a basket that holds car seats so you can put them in that. Sometimes i flip the highchair over and put them in that depending how sterdy it was when flipped out. Or you can put them beside or whatever you want is fine.

some places offer booster chairs...if they dont, put them in a carseat next to you. Even better, put them in a stroller, so your eye level can be almost the same.

Ordinarily it's best not to dine out with little ones, to much exposure to infections, colds, flu, etc. If you are in circumstances where you must though- then use an infant seat or portable car seat and set it next to you in your booth. Don't place baby where food or dishes will be passed over him or her.
