i am salvadorian but in the place where i live people are white.
there are blacks as well as latinos. i seem to notice whites have it better than the non-whites. is this handed down from generation to generation to keep whites wealthier and better?
i think whites worry more about money than love or the news or anything that's negative.
This is not just in america, it is in El Salvador as well. the richest become richest and they dont care about homeless or anything

Yes, but this is changing speedily.
Not many white people have better life than Oprah Winfreh, Martin Luther King, Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela...and a longer list of names that I cannot cite out here.
There had been all sorts of prejudices and misunderstandings about skin colour, gender, prosperity, happiness, success...which are now changing quickly and radically.
We should look up to remake our life and show the new way to our chidren. There is no more absolute power for the white and slavery for people of other colours.
I am not white, but I don't hate the white. I firmly believe that all mankind, without any exceptions, will enjoy the glory of the Golden Age.

I personelly think that whoever you are if you work hard you too can have whatever you want. Opportunities are available for everyone, you just have to have the drive to pursue them. Its not easy for anyone and most people arent handed anything, they work for it. If you look around america there are lots of wealthy people from all cultures. This is the land of opportunity but its not handed to you, you have to litterally work very hard for it. There are a few rich people that dont pay any mind to the homeless plight but there are tons of others that do and we have many well to do individuals that help considerably. In my heart americans are the most giving and understanding people on this earth. What other country pours there hearts and pockets out to help other countries in distress? Americans do alot to help the unfortunate in other countries. We have lots of celebrities bringing the plight of the homeless and poor to our attention everyday. They do wonders! I think america is doing the best it can to help everyone.

I am a white american who is poor, I don't live in a nice neighborhood, I live in a run down trailer in the middle of the woods, I pay rent to a landlord who does not fix up the place. I don't know how you think that all white people are better off then all non-whites. I know a lot of successful colored people, ethnic people. It isn't only whites who are successful, it is not only colored or ethnic people who are poor, I think you should get your facts straight.

I hate to disappoint you.. But life is no bed of roses for me..I am white and have had to work hard all my life to make ends meet..i have raised three girls with very little help from their father..but i can at least say i have made it on my own...not been on welfare or anything like that... i do think and care about the homeless people and have donated clothes and things to help them... You should really think about what you say before you write it.. There are alot of White people like me out here that struggle each and every day just to make it,....better yet..there are alot of PEOPLE who struggle every day to pay there bills..put food on the table..put clothes on their family's back.....etc...

Maybe "whites" know something you don't...that opportunity is there if you believe it is. If you think negative, that's what you'll get. If you think positive, good things will happen for you. I am white, and I came from a very poor upbringing, I have educated myself and I believe in myself no matter what. Knock the chip off your shoulder, and get on with your success. Knowledge is key.

What about poor white people? Where I live there is a lot of poor people that happen to be white. They work hard in the fields and raiseing cattle. Life right now for a lot of people isn't pleasant.
But sterotypeing on race isn't the answer. Getting a solution to feeding and getting jobs for everyone regardless of their race is.

Maybe it's because they try harder, and work harder. That is definitely the case in US,the minority community spends all their time moaning about how they can't get ahead, meanwhile they waste any chance at getting an education, spend any money they do get on partying and clothes and drugs and then complain that they can't get ahead. They have the highest incarceration rates but rather than blaming themselves for committing crimes they blame white society. The entire argument is faulty, they just don't want to work to get ahead, they just want handouts. They got welfare, free housing etc and now they're trying to get reparations for slavery, making millions like myself whos families never owned slaves give them money just for being black. If you work hard and get educated you get ahead,if you don't get educated and work hard then you get nowhere,it's as simple as that.

You seem to be racist if you ask me. Nothing was handed down to me. I worked hard, went to University, got myself a job, and married a hard working man, and I helped him get a graduate degree.

It is not race that counts, it is hard work and education that help one to break out of poverty.
