Yes I would be annoyed. But I will say that most men do not understand the intricasies of women's hair processes. I wouldn't be too mad at him - because if he did know that detail (before you told him), then I would wonder why he knew it!! Now, when he says he would do it again - I would be more than annoyed, I would be mad... cause now that he knows, there is no reason to do it again. Get him on the expense - the cost of the hair coloring itself - then the cost of getting all those different bottles of shampoo to maintain your investment of your hair color. Now all those bottles of shampoo are ruined as they will not now work the way they were supposed to. He cost a lot of $$'s there. That may appeal to his senses a bit more than all those bottles are annoying to him.

I understand where you're coming from, as I also use different kinds of shampoos for different hair reasons. So I sympathize with why you are annoyed about this. But it's possible that the reason he doesn't want to apologize is because he thought he was doing something helpful by cleaning the tub - if this is not something that he regularly does. And since he wasn't acknowledged/appreciated for doing something he thought was helpful, he may be hurt or offended because his mistake made you overlook his good deed - which may account for the snippy "I'd do it again" comment. Many men are often clueless when it comes to the ways of female grooming practices, so they don't really understand the difference between all the types of products we use on a regular basis, so to them it's no big deal. If he doesn't make these kinds of "slip-ups" all the time, I say let this one go and acknowledge his efforts to do something nice :o)
On the other hand, if these things occur regularly then I say you have every right to be as upset as you are and that you should make him go out with a very specific list and buy you all the hair products he messed up.

Ya, that would really **** me off !!! I have 3 kinds of shampoo myself, it is a scientific fact you need at least 3 shampoos isn't it !!!! You should pour his after shave in his mouthwash! Or throw away his shampoo just so he'll see how it feels (just hide it to make him ask) , maybe he won't do it again! I mean it's good he cleaned the tub, does it happen often or was it just a wild hair? Buy a bottle of tub cleaner and keep it in the shower area, in case he has the urge again !

It's annoying. I wouldn't be perturbed. At least not for a long time. Like others I'd be pretty happy taht someone else cleaned the tub. I know multiple bottles for the same ultimate purpose (i.e., washing hair) can drive some people crazy.
I'd keep one or two bottles only in the shower and put the rest under the sink or something. Swap 'em out as you need them.

Your man got tired of seeing "several" half empty bottles all over the shower. Your man is being a man, he will do it again. Put the shampoo you are not using underneath the sink. He is making a point. Get the point...

I mean yeah that would probaby be annoying - but I only have two shampoos at a time in my bathroom. I mean that's quite enough....at least for me.
I mean it's just shampoo, but I mean he should realize that it bothered you and just acknowledge that. Just ask him not to do it again and explain your reasons why. If he still says he would do it - just move the bottles, before he cleans the bathroom.
But I would say at least he is cleaning the bathroom..... I mean don't whine too much or he might stop.

If it bothers you that much (would probably bother me too, but my hubby knows better), clean the bathroom before he can get to it. Instead of freaking out at him (probably the way you approached him about it is why his reaction was so negative) you could just say something like, "Gee honey, I really appreciate you cleaning the tub, but I like my shampoos separate for a reason. Next time, I don't mind cleaning the bathroom." I know it sucks to bite your tongue when your angry, but it really works.

I probably would be annoyed if it were me. It wasn't very considerate of him.
That said, I have a roommate who insists upon keeping about two dozen different kinds of shampoo, conditioner, facewash, body wash, exfoliants, etc, you name it.... in the shower. As a result there is hardly any room for my two solitary bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I have to admit I've thought about throwing out a few of them. But I wouldn't actually do it.
P.S. At least he cleans the tub. Count your blessings.

This says ladies, but I can't help but comment. I can totally see why he would do it, because to us guys it is just shampoo. Since he said he'd do it again, then he did it to prove a point. My wife has tons of this stuff and I know not to touch it. But, it gets old having 5 quarter full bottles in the way all the time. Get a shower organizer.

Well, I think...I'd dwell on the concept he cleaned the tub. That's pretty huge!! To avoid any fights...just remember that was huge...lol
But girl, I'd be so upset too...guys just don't get it...on stuff like that.
Yeah, don't have him do the tub again....(maybe thats why he did it....if he screwed up....you wouldn't make him clean the tub ever again...hmmm).
Go buy more shampoo.....charge it to him....lol
hang in there
