This is for our son's homework and he was not able to bring a textbook home. We cannot find any way to search for this info online and would appreciate ANY help. Thanks!

Well the top of the highest point of a mountain is called the summit. I would think that the over 1500 feet would have to be hills adn the plains less than 700 feet would have to be valleys. I am only guessing so dont take my word for it. Just thought maybe it could be a clue.

Plains are called Mesa's & plateaus

Mesa's are less extensive than plateau.

Not sure about the mountains.

A summit is the highest point of a mountain and the upper portion of a mountain, above 7,000 feet is called the tree-level, but I don't know if that is the correct answer...

Sorry, it's all I have for you.

I can't believe the teacher wouldn't allow your son to bring home his textbook when he has homework...that's just absurd! Maybe throw some of these terms out to him and see if any sound familiar to him?
