That is what I have done in the past. Just lay her back down. I agree it's one of the toughest things I had to do so far as a mother (I'm a first time and new mom too) but it has worked. What time is her last bottle? How about the temperature in the room. Is she warm enough? Does she sleep with a binkie? How about any lovies that she likes to snuggle with. There are so many variables. BUT....if everything else checks out just continue on with what you're doing and she will fuss herself back to sleep. (Barring she is not hysterical crying just fussing and moaning.) Good luck.

I find this question to be very interesting because my son is 9 months and I am having difficulties with him going to sleep and sleeping throughout the night. What i try to do is keep him up throughoout the day so when night time comes he will have worn his self out. What I would suggest you to do is give her a warm bath feed her really well and either rock her to sleep or lay down with her she maybe wants to be comforted by you at this time.

Do you want to get her to sleep through the night or does your doctor want you to or because you feel that she "should".
Because honestly if it isn't bothering you it will work itself out when she is ready. There are lots of reasons she could be waking, both physical and mental, and if it isn't a big deal to you to go and snuggle, or rock or whatever works for you both!
Listen to your heart; not your guilt, not what society tells you is right. Do what is right for you and your family (you, your kids and your husband/partner. No one else) Your daughter won't need you to rock her to sleep forever and you will miss it someday.

OMG!!! don't drug her! I can't believe someone even suggested that!

stay consistent and she'll eventully start sleepign through. I would try giving her a filling snack before bed, as hunger could be waking her, especially if she goes through several bottles or sippies of milk in the night.

You may not be aware of it, but your baby may be experiencing some discomfort. Switch to hypoallergenic free diapers and wipes. These really helps put baby to sweet, good night sleeps. You may also check out this site http://www.upkb.com/diapers.php for product tips and details.

try feeding her some baby rice cereal and formula mix like an hour before you go to put her to bed. or you can try some relaxing music for her as well. these are the two best things that i have tried that have worked for me.

She may wake up cause she's hungry and milk alone isn't getting her through the night. I would suggest adding rice cereal to her milk. The rice will stick to her ribs better and maybe she won't awake as often.
