Usually when you are pregnant you do not get your period, but in rare cases it does happen. If you used protection, and now have your period, you are most likely not pregnant. Relax.

Most likely not, your period is the lining of your uterus shedding to begin the next cycle of becoming ripe ready for implantation, if implantation doesn't occur then you will shed again next month. Of course there are some women who have a period during pregnancy but this is not as common as the first sing of pregnancy been missing your period. Using protection should have protected you but this is not 100%. So always be careful. Good luck.

These answers are completely accurate. Although rare, women can still have periods, or at least a couple early on in pregnancy.
I'm going through the same problem...only our protection may have failed.
Get a test in a few weeks just to be sure. :)

Getting your period is a pretty sure sign that you're not pregnant. But let's be honest, if you have to ask this question, you really shouldn't be having sex.

You must either be very young or very uneducated. The first signs of pregnancy are usually the lack of a period. No.

Ummmm, not usually. And BTW, if you are having to ask this question, then you obviously have no idea how the female anatomy works and shouldn't be having sex. Maybe you need another talk with your parents.
