I have the game...but it keeps saying i need a power plant. HOW do I get one? I looked everywhere what do I have to do???? Otherwise i run out of money and have no people, etc HELP PLEASE !!!

when you left click on POWER button, hold down LEFT click and the POWER PLANT option appears.
This works for most buttons.

Look on line for Sim City cheat codes, there is a cheat that gives you extra money and there is also a cheat that gives you all the power plants that you can get in the game all at the same time. You will find many different cheats. There is a way to open the box to enter the codes and i think its hold down shift contol alt and C at the same time. A box will open at the top left corner of the screen. What the cheats are i dont remember you will have to look them up on a cheat code website. Good luck and have fun.

Though it has been over 2 yrs. since I've played, I'm wondering if you've placed an energy source in your city? Look in your legend for something that looks like lighting bolt. Or let your mouse hover over the icons to find the 'power' area. You'll need to buy : coal power plant; or gas [that's more $$]; or wind turbines or other forms of energy. I always bought the turbines, people didn't mind having them nearby. They hate the coal plants. Best of luck!
