If you want to take the moral high ground, take the high road and you can be above everyone else. This will be a more difficult route through life as you will have to weather all the ups and downs and it will take you longer to get to the place you want to be at.
If you want to have a smooth ride through life, take the low road and you'll get there quicker, with fewer mountains to climb. The scenery will not be so dramatic but life will be smoother and on a more even keel.

This would depend on the local terrain and where the roads were leading; also, the form of transport you are using? My friend says that you should always take the high road, as it' s supposed to be more energy efficient, as you will be using more energy at the atart of the journey, when you have more extra energy to spend and your muscles will be less tired; once you're up , you can only go down

That depends on you. On the low road, you travel with the majority, you don't make waves, and you think with the crowd. The high road is harder. You travel your own road, create your own waves, and think for yourself. The low road is easier to travel and it's harder to get lost.
The best road is the road that you choose to travel. Good luck on your journey!

I'd have to say the high road as long as you don't get on your high horse . If you are below sea-level , be wary of the low road .
