I think it is only scary because of the possilblity of it happening to anyone. I am an avid horror movie fan and isn't really scary but it is quite suspenseful.

I'd give it a 5 on the horror scale. I'd say this movie is more of a well-told story that happened to be scary at times.

There are a few parts that were pretty good but on the whole the movie wasn't really as scary as I wanted it to be.

It honeslty wasn't that great. Didn't hold up to the hype that I'd heard. Best scary movie to watch, if you want exorcism still, is the Exorcist.

That Movie is retarted its not even scary half the movie they are in a court room and nothing happens. You should watch a bloody, gory, torture movie those are always cool.

No horror movies are "scary". Especially this PG-13 children's movie. Even the unrated version isn't scary.

it is very scary! if you like scary movies and can handle them, then you should watch it. i would suggest asking your friends if they are comfortable with watching a movie that is about devils and demons. you never know, someone might be.
i had to sleep with my lights on for a month after watching it. it was terrifying when she got attacked by the devil. oooooo i shudder to remember.

It isn't dumb, it makes you think! Rent the original Exorcist movie or better yet, I can send you a copy of my wedding day on tape. That is scarier than hell itself!!

That honestly is the scariest movie I have EVER seen. I would not recommend it. The reality is that this really can happen to someone who is not a Christian, and it is very real. I will not be seeing this one again. I get freaked out thinking about it.
