Do Ipod Shuffles batteries need to be sent into apple to be replaced?

yes actually cuz its not like AA or AAA batteries its a little disk and u could get it from radio shack or something but u wouldnt be able to open it thats the only thing bout ipods, once the rechargable baterry dies thats it thats y i like mp3 players better u can just change the battery

You can get a battery and the tool to change your Ipod battery on eBay.
