uhhh... hello?
if he's your friend, then act like it and still be his friend. his sexual preference is something personal and in my opinion a private matter, it shouldn't affect friendships.

What does his being "gay" have to do with what kind of person he is? He is exactly the same person 2 minutes before you found out he was gay as he is 2 minutes after. A friend is a friend and I dont know about you, but I do not have enough of them. Continue to treat him as a friend. .

What is acting gay? Is that like acting mexican lol, He was born that way, he's not acting sweetie. He is gay always has been since before your friendship it's just now that you found out, not now he turned gay. Support him, He obvously isn't that comfortable disclosing his sexuality to the world yet. Just be what you say that you are "A FRIEND".

He was gay 2 years ago, the only thing that has changed is you knowing about it. If he hasn't hit on you by now, he must really value your friendship.

First I would be shocked considering this is my best friend, I should have suspected it. Then I would be very happy for her and supportive. Don't bring this up to your friend until he is ready to come out. He is probably having a hard enough time trying to face who he really is.

Not trying to be rude, but if you are his true friend it shouldn't be such a big deal. Although I can see it being strange and some what awkward after finding out. Talk to him openly and try not to have your tounge talk for you, but your head and your heart. I have been through this before. Trust me, it works.

Be supportive whenever he feels ready to tell you. Just don't go on a rant to him or others that he is gay. That is completely uncool. For now, be happy that you're friends.

If my best girlfriend was gay I'd sleep with her if it were a guy I wouldn't do anything different than what I do now.
