I had them read today and it really applied to my life! What do you think? Should I believe them? I dont know much about them but it sounded true and really freaked me out!

There are two important things to consider in answering this question:

1 - anybody can give generalized information using the cards. Does this mean that they aren't good tools? No. Even generalized information heard at the right time can become very helpful.

2 - In a standard Celtic Cross, the math works something like this:

78 cards
2 positions
10 cards used.

2,598,596,794,680,606,720 possible combinations.

A skilled reader can pull very specific information with this type of spread and card positioning. Think: the odds are better of winning the PowerBall... Twice... *and* getting struck by lightning than getting a specific card layout.

With odds like that, specific information should come maybe once in a lifetime for any group of readers... yet time and time again, readers get pretty specific and are correct.

Mathimatically, and logically, there must be something to Tarot, then, no?

The Tarot (or Royal Road, or road of life) Can result in a 'generalized' reading, this is, depending on whom it may be that is actually giving the 'reading'... An individual that is just describing the cards in the layout, is most likely going to be giving a 'generalized' or homogenized version of interpretation. An individual, whom visualizes, with the cards, and or is tapping into their 'inner-vision' (clairaudiant and or clairvoyant) would, perhaps give you a more personalized reading. I find it, not difficult, whatsoever, to 'tell' people what has happened in their lives, in the past. Discuss, and see what is going on in the present. But, we, as individuals with 'free will' possess the ability to not only change our future, but, obviously create it as well. Some 'factors' in our lives, may be destined, but, we possess the ability to do what we wish. (free thinking= free will) It's our choice!

Every time I "tested" readings, they were spot on. Even though I was just trying to disprove them. they were accurate! So I have to believe... I think maybe Ishould read them for a living.....

if the person knows what they are doing them they are great. also if it was just about the past great. but if they told you the future then be skepticol about it. the cards do not tell you the future, all they do is takk you the lost likely future but that future may change.
