People usually do that because they are unhappy and they want to make other people unhappy. They also do it to try to impress their friends. Or to make you look bad while trying to make themselves look good.

People who are hurt and depresed often lass out on others in jelousy. Some people are sadly just cruel, but most stem from a hurt that they are trying to hide and inturn inflict on others to take the attention away from them.

Because their self esteem is incredibly low and it makes them feel better about themselves to put other people down. If you let it get to you, then they win. Stand up for yourself, but don't waste your time trying to convince them that they're wrong. Go out and find better people...they are out there.

Don't worry about it. Stand up to them. They do that because you are important. They are jealous of you. Ignore them. You shouldn't care on what they talk about you. Give it some time and it will be all over.

don't even worry about that its usually because their jealos or they have nothing better to do, so either way your better then them so who cares what they say, but you should always stand up for yourself and your friends...if you dont let them know it gets to you they will eventually stop. if that helps or answers your question.
