If it's still under warranty, I suggest you bring it to where you bought it and have it diagnosed or you can bring it directly to the manufacturer. Whatever the brand may be they should honor it if it is still under warranty. When the unit stopped turning on it could be because of a number of reason and since it is a sophisticated electromechanical device it is not easy to pinpoint the exact problem with just two sentences. Technicians and Engineers will do some testing to determine the cause and recommend the solution. Have professionals take a look at it. Good luck.

Well labtops batteries are a weakpoint for them. You could very well have a bad battery. A labtop life expectancy is about four years. So giving such a short period for life you know there are alot of weaknesses. Monitors go out frequently, boards go out also freqeuntly. That is to name just a few of the problems. The name brand can mean a great deal and make a difference. Run a search on Google and find a site known for giving info about the problems with different computers and if yours is listed it will show the problems that are common for your computer.

If it is completely dead, I mean the power led does not even turn on and you don't hear any fan sound when you turn it on, this is a power problem. There might be a problem with the power supply or the power cable.
