Think about it for real, think about who got the better end of the deal. Iraq got invaded by the US and we're getting oil. Also, Bush now has the right to do just about whatever he wants now and legally. That sounds better that oil-thirsty America in Iraq now doesn't it?

High prices for crude oil, gasoline and natural gas helped Exxon Mobil Corp. to its highest-ever quarterly profit, $9.92 billion, up 75 percent from the third quarter last year, the company said yesterday.

The thing that people have to start grasping is that we went into Iraq for oil. But not to get the oil. Our intention is to keep the oil in Iraq so the supply can be repressed and profits will soar. You need to understand that this current administration doesn't represent the people. Although many consider Bush to be just one of the boys the truth is his lack of education is due to his political influence giving him a pass through school. He is from one of the most elite families in the world. To him America isn't you and me it's those who are running multi national companies. Those are the people he knows from growing up how he did.

This argument is so tired. We're so busy discussing the politics of 9/11 that we forget that a great many innocent people died that day. If whoever is "benefitting" from it is glad about it, I'd have to say they're pretty heartless. Whether it be the Taliban, Al-Quaeda, bin Laden, or the President...to me it doesn't matter. They terrorised the American people into giving up their rights, they gained control of more middle eastern oil, they got a foothold in their takeover of a bit more of the world, they made a few private fortunes out of stock control dealings and rebuilding contracts, they disposed of tons of paperwork which was incriminating evidence, they helped out a buddy to get rid of a pile of buildings which were a complete embarrassment, they tested out a few new missiles, and they got to do what they really enjoy, killing a few hundred thousand people.
