you question makes no sense, You cant use ramps yet it doesnt have to be on a flat surface? Isnt a ramp a slop the goes down or up? WIth this lack of information i would string some marbles in a row hanging from a rod on top and lift one of the marbles, then drop it to bounce the othe ones.

kind of like the balls that hit each other that keep bouncing back and forth.

perhaps put it in a "wok" shaped object and put the wok on a flat surface allowing it to rock as the marble rolls around in it .or if environment isnt a limitation just wait till a lake nr. you freezes and throw it across the ice.

Make a pendulum out of it. Put it on an airplane. Or just set it on a table and watch it move around the earth's axis every 24 hours and around the sun every 365 days.

Simplest way would be to put it on something that moves, like a clock or a radio controlled race car.

How about making it into a pendulum? 30 seconds might be a long time, but if you added more weight it should work.
